“Come," he (Jesus) replied, "and you will see." (John 1:39 NIV)

Come and see. So many times in the Bible Jesus invites us. This one word "come" is the
invitation to experience the heart of God, and His great love for us, and life to the full.

When He calls us, He is inviting us into a relationship with Him. So today as He ask us to come
spend a few minutes in His presence. We can read a few verses in the Bible and see how they
apply to us-suggested reading:

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll
recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch
how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.

Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matt. 11:28-30 MSG)
What does this verse mean to me? Can I give God all of the things that are hurtful, stressful, or
sad?

Jesus, I invite You into my life, I give You ____ (the things that make me feel tired and burned
out) I accept Your invitation to come. Show me more of who You are. In Your name
